"Art Expo New York 2013 Winning Entry"

March, 2013

Early this year, I submitted my work, “Jumping,” which is one of my contemporary bojagis which include silk painting, collage and embroidery technique, to a competition, ArtExpo NYC hosted by NEA Inc, CA. For the ArtExpo NYC competition 2013, they selected 49 emerging artists’ works and then they selected only the top 5 finalists among 49 for giving an opportunity to display their work in the exhibition under NEA’s gallery. My work is included in the top 5 and I am participating in one of biggest international art fairs in America, ArtExpo NYC at Pier 92 in March.
